Whether you are curious or seriously seeking a new church home, you are very much welcome at First Baptist Church of Newnan. The steps below help you know what to expect on Sundays. We also have weekday programs for all ages — you are welcome to visit us then as well.
Sunday Mornings
1. Choose a Worship Service
8:30am and 10:50am
Worship is at 8:30 and 10:50am, with some exceptions on special holidays. Each service includes the same sermon. On your first visit, it’s best to arrive about 15 minutes early, or 30 minutes early if you need time to find your children’s classroom locations. Ushers will welcome you into the Historic Sanctuary before 8:30am or in the Main Worship Center before 10:50am. Ushers can help you find a seat. Biblical teaching, participatory singing, prayer and giving are key components of worship at FBC of Newnan.
Children in 1st-5th grade will be dismissed from the 10:50am church service at a designated time in the service. With the help of our many volunteers, the children are led to room 227B, where they will experience Children’s Worship that provides a media-driven, interactive worship experience.
Parents, please pick your child up directly after the Service in Room 227B of the Children’s Floor.
2. Directions to FBC Newnan
First Baptist Church of Newnan, Georgia, is located at 15 West Washington St, Newnan, GA.
The church is located one block West of the Court Square in downtown Newnan. It is easy access from I-85, Ga. Hwy 34, Ga. Hwy 16, and US Hwy 29.

9:40am | Bible Study
Our First Impressions Team is ready to answer your questions before and between each service. Our Main Welcome Center is located in the front of the church on West Washington Street, and guest parking is also available. Greeters will be available at each church door to assist you. They can help you choose a Sunday School class that is right for you.
If you have children, stop by the children’s check-in area, located in the back of the church building off Madison Street. You will find guest parking located there. Enter through the double glass doors where greeters will help you find Sunday School classes and locations. You will receive a security sticker for your child’s safe and secure pick-up.
Middle and High School students meet at 9:40am in the Warehouse, located on Brown Street. Our Student Leadership Team will connect you with your Sunday School teacher and introduce you to your class.
